Kitchen Modifications for a client

These works were for a client with reduced mobility, which is causing difficulty when trying to live independently in their own home. They have been supported by family members to help with cooking but the goal was for the client to be able to cook safely and independently.

Before

The existing kitchen did not meet the client's needs with a free-standing oven and cupboards that they were not able to gain access to safely due to their condition.

After

With the new layout, there is a tall oven housing with an eye-level oven, so they can safely use the oven, along with pull-out draws on the base units and pull-down baskets on the wall units, which now makes the whole kitchen accessible to the client.
